Fun for all |
A day at the ballpark |
Prince George's Stadium |
Last night, we decided to check out the Prince George’s Stadium, which is home to the Bowie Baysox. In case you’re unfamiliar, the Bowie Baysox are the Baltimore Orioles Class AA affiliate (Maryland-National Capital Park, n.d.). The Bowie Baysox played the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. The game was fairly slow with only the fourth inning by 8:45pm. Sadly, the Baysox lost 3-11 to the Fisher Cats. However, the stadium amenities were quite fun! Family fun and games were provided throughout the game with cotton candy, coke, and beer vendors plowing through the stands with yummy treats for all. The best part was watching the young families and their children walking around with their melting ice cream twist cones and cotton candied smiles. Special guests to the event included the midshipment from the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. They appeared in their Navy summer whites and cheered happily throughout the game. Cheer on and support your local Baysox by purchasing your tickets here. It’s a great family fun event. Don’t miss out!
